We’re Qualified to Perform Commercial Vehicle Inspections

 

The Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) is a mandatory safety inspection program. It is not a replacement for scheduled, preventative maintenance carried out by the owner of the vehicle. An annual CVIP Inspection is mandatory for any vehicle with a weight over 11,749 kg or greater when operating within Alberta, or, 4,500 kg or greater when outside of the province. If your CVIP has expired, the current Alberta laws allow you to drive to a facility to obtain the inspection. But, the vehicle can’t stop anywhere along the way; you must drive directly to the inspection facility.
